Position Description:
• Coordinate logistical and operations elements of meetings, events, and tradeshows to include Housekeeping, Security, and Parking.
• Gather information for each assigned meeting, event, or tradeshow and process information to each Department accordingly.
• Secure Liability Insurance from Customers, where applicable.
• Communicate and support Toronto Congress Centre Rules & Regulations, along with Fire Regulations, to Customers and their Attendees/Exhibitors.
• Develop and produce Corporate or Show Resumes.
• Respond to all Customer requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Marketing and writing skills an asset, but not required.
• High level of organizational ability.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Supervisory ability.
• Ability to handle stress and seasonal high work load.
Education:
Position requires 5 years experience equivalent in meeting or exhibition management.
