JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title – Sales Executive (Bilingual)
Location – Toronto, Canada
Reports to: Show Manager
Date: December, 2009
SUMMARY STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sell exhibit space and sponsorship for industry leading tradeshows and conferences via direct mail, telemarketing and face to face. Sell equally to customer and prospect accounts.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
• Sell and promote to new, existing and prospect accounts.
• Provide customer service, up sell current exhibitors.
• Support show and sales goals; meet budgeted sales, develop sales strategy and participate in sales and marketing meetings.
• Develop sales letters and presentations to support sales efforts.
• Travel to SME and competitive events and customer accounts to sell and service customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related preferred.
• Three or more years sales experience with manufacturing, sales, conference or tradeshow organization preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to effectively apply a consultative approach to selling and communicating value to prospects and clients.
• Demonstrated experience in creating long term business relationships.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet conflicting deadlines in a team work environment.
• Bilingual in French and English essential (written and verbal)
