On July 1, 2010, Ontario will be affected by the harmonization of the PST with the GST to create a single, harmonized sales tax (HST).  Is the new 13% HST just a combination of the previous 8% and 5%?  Definitely not!  Like it or hate it, all organizations will need to prepare for the new HST.
